Ideally its been just 3 weeks that i am on bench. Realistically i am on bench for the past one week only. Before that i utilized my two weeks for the preparation of Java Internal certification which my company has started. It was tough studying...really believe me and i guess i studied after around 2 yrs or so....
But i am not here to discuss the studies but the bench period.
Since this Tuesday, i am really on bench without any work..............its so boring without any work.
for the past 4 months i was so dead busy that i wanted a break desperately but now when i have got a chance to relax and take a break, i am thinking of going to my manager and ask him for some work ;) its an irony but that's the way what and how bench is......
Today i am getting damn bored that provoked me to write something in my blog which i left long time back.
The next question is what should i write in blog......
Obviously something i am going through...whats that? It is "Bench" again .
So here it goes:
When i don't have time for all my creative and other personal work and i am dead busy in the project, all the thoughts come to me at that time and a list gets printed on my mind as to what i will do once i get freed from this project :)
Now i am free, i think of various ideas of just killing time. I think i will do constructive things but don't want to do them. I don't know why.
Monday, i completed my test and to my surprise i passed. Day went in getting happy and giving the news to other in my team.
Came Tuesday and its started with thoughts that Oh..Chhavi, you have just cleared the exam and you have been studying day in and day out for the past two weeks ( i only now how much i studied ;) ) so today is the time to relax......so just chill...have breaks at regular intervals from reading mails, spend some 1 hr on lunch ( i usually spend 10 to 15 min), and go back home by 3 :)
Wednesday : another day to just chill as in one day i was not able to reply to all my pending mails....spend some time on lunch and then food world shopping( for people who don't know food world, its the kind of daily items store which is inside my company)....and the time is again over to go home :)
Thursday: oh......weekend is just near and now if i start with something, i might not be able to complete and i am already in a weekend mood........so try to just pass time and wait for the Friday to come
today is Friday and i am happy that the weekend is here again and i list down the things which i have to complete in weekend...........but then what...i couldn't spend 8.5hrs just making the weekend list........
what yaar...kya karron main...baar baar yehi dimag main ata hai aur dil bolta hai ki kash mujhe phir se project mil jaye...........
Monday will again come and i will definitely have to find some project to be busy again..........

hey chhavs...i never saw this page of urs.Wonderful writings.i enjoyed ur earlier blogs also..very entertaining and full of fun.And in this blog of urs..when i saw the picture of bench..i thought oh god..bench ke baarein ki kaun si properties likh dali hain.Fun to read...full with typical chhavi kinda things.I think ur humour is still very much intact.
